Attitude is Everything

All about attitude

There once was a woman who woke up one morning, looked in the mirror, and noticed she had only three hairs on her head.

Well,’ she said, ‘I think I’ll braid my hair today?’ So she did and she had a wonderful day.

The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and saw that she had only two hairs on her head.  ‘H-M -M,’ she said, ‘I think I’ll part my hair down the middle today?’ So she did and she had a grand day.

The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and noticed that she had only one hair on her head.  ‘Well,’ she said, ‘today I’m going to wear my hair in a pony tail.’ So she did and she had a fun, fun day.

The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and noticed that there wasn’t a single hair on her head.  ‘YEA!’ she exclaimed, ‘I don’t have to fix my hair today!’ Attitude is everything.

Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

Live simply, Love generously, Care deeply, Speak kindly.

Leave the rest to God. Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass…

It’s about learning to dance in the rain.

Heavy Metals in Lipsticks

Many women consider wearing lipstick as necessary as the dress they ware daily. Seldom do they know that many of these cosmetics contain poisonous chemicals and heavy metals, including those so-called “natural” products. Most pigments used in cosmetics contain heavy metals such as lead, mercury and arsenic. Buyers beware. Distributors of these products could be your friends who pressure you into joining multi-level marketing programs.  Not only these products contain heavy metals they also contain hormones that can potentially disrupt our endocrine system.

Gardasil Adverse Events Include Death and Serious Complications

According to Judicial Watch, 3,461 complaints about Gardasil have been filed with FDA’s Vaccine Adverse Event Report System since its approval last year, and 11 women died after exposure to the vaccine. The complaints about Gardasil have more than doubled compared to the original 1,637 adverse events reported by Alliance for Human Research Protection

Alliance for Human Research Protection reports that of the original 1,637 adverse events 371 were serious reactions, including the three original deaths linked to Merck’s vaccine. A female patient “died of a blood clot three hours after getting the Gardasil vaccine.” Two other reports, on girls 12 and 19, reported deaths relating to heart problems and/or blood clotting.

Other serious side-effects reported included paralysis, Bells Palsy, Guillain-Barre Syndrome, and seizures. And of 42 women who were vaccinated with Gardasil while pregnant, 18 experienced complications, ranging from miscarriages to fetal abnormalities.

Lead researcher, Diane M. Harper, who spent 20 years developing the vaccine for humanpapilloma virus states that the HPV vaccine is not for younger girls, and that it is “silly” for states to be mandating it for them. She said that it’s not been tested for effectiveness in younger girls, and administering the vaccine to girls as young as 9 may not protect them at all. And, in the worst-case scenario, instead of serving to reduce the numbers of cervical cancers within 25 years, such a vaccination crusade actually could cause the numbers to go up.

Dr. Ron Paul defends American’s right to raw milk

This a talk by Congressman Ron Paul to introduce his bill that would authorized interstate transportation of raw milk and legalized the sale of raw milk in the United States.

“Introducing HR 4077 to Allow the Interstate Shipment of Unpasteurized Milk,November 6, 2007

Madame Speaker, I rise to introduce legislation that allows the transportation and sale in interstate commerce of unpasteurized milk and milk products, as long as the milk both originates from and is shipped to states that allow the sale of unpasteurized milk and milk products. This legislation removes an unconstitutional restraint on farmers who wish to sell unpasteurized milk and milk products, and people who wish to consume unpasteurized milk and milk products.

My office has heard from numerous people who would like to purchase unpasteurized milk. Many of these people have done their own research and come to the conclusion that unpasteurized milk is healthier than pasteurized milk. These Americans have the right to consume these products without having the federal government second-guess their judgment about what products best promote health. If there are legitimate concerns about the safety of unpasteurized milk, those concerns should be addressed at the state and local level.

I urge my colleagues to join me in promoting consumers rights, the original intent of the Constitution, and federalism by cosponsoring my legislation to allow the interstate sale of unpasteurized milk and milk products.”

Don’t Judge a Man by His Appearance

Having the courage to do what you are called to do in life is the most healing act one should engage in. This unassuming cell phone salesman appeared in a British talent contest won the admiration of many by his courage. Although I am not a fan of the entertainment industry, Paul Potts’ example of overcoming his lack of self confidence and showing the world what he is meant to do. It is wonderful to watch.  Inspiring!

This link has two videos. Make sure you scroll down to watch the second part.

Don’t Use Drinking Glasses in Hotels

This video showed very distirbing cleaning mothods used by hotel maids for the drinking glasses you find in the room. After watching this video, you should bring your own drinking glass to a hotel and never touch those in the room again.

Stupid is funny, is it not?

Have you ever thought of the definition of stupidity? Or intellegence?  What do they mean?  Do you know that the term “moron” was invented in Vineland, New Jersey? This documentary is a humorous examination of stupidity in contemporary American culture, covering: the effects of television and mass media on the American intellect; the “dumbing down” of American culture; the popularity of Steve-O and Jackass; role of religion in willful stupidity; the identifaction of many Americans with George W. Bush; the evolution of such concepts as “idiot” and “moron.” This video makes me think. May be I am thinking too much?

The Art of Effective Presentation and Persuasion

The art of persuasion is a must for affecting behavior and social change.  Trueful information leads to correct decisions and behavior. How can we present trueful information and be able to motivate our listener to make good choices? It is a skill we should cultivate. Anthony Robbins is a great motivational speaker, we can learn a lot from him.  This is a free video on GUBA.

The Century of the Self

It is interesting to ponder how some very smart or “evil” people have used our emotional selfish instinct to manipulate us. The best documentary ever!! A masterpiece from BBC4 that shows the reality of the american identity. Watch this documentary of how propaganda is used to promote a false self that is used to control us, the masses.
If this treasured identity that we have as American is not really who we really are, but a frabrication of some inventive mind, who are we, really?
