36 WAYS TO REDUCE STRESS

An Angel says, “Never borrow from the future. If you worry about what may happen tomorrow and it doesn’t happen, you have worried in vain. Even if it does happen, you have to worry twice.”  Try these suggestions to reduce stress.  We are all overloaded these days, take it easy on yourselves.

1. PRAY !!
2. Go to bed on time.
3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed.
4. Say NO to projects that won’t fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health.
5. Delegate tasks to capable others.
6. Simplify and unclutter your life.
7. Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.)
8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places.
9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don’t lump the hard things all together.
10. Take one day at a time.
11. Separate worries from concerns. If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you do and let go of the anxiety. If you can’t do anything about a situation, forget it.
12. Live within your budget; don’t use credit cards for ordinary purchases.
13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc.
14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble.
15. Do something for the ‘Kid in You’ everyday.
16. Carry a Bible with you to read while waiting in line.
17. Get enough rest.
18. Eat right.
19. Get organized so everything has its place.
20. Listen to a tape while driving that can help improve your quality of life.
21. Write down thoughts and inspirations.
22. Every day, find time to be alone.
23. Having problems? Talk to God on the spot. Try to nip small problems in the bud. Don’t wait until it’s time to go to bed to try and pray.
24. Make friends with Godly people.
25. Keep a folder of favorite scriptures on hand.
26. Remember that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is often a good “Thank you Jesus.”
27. Laugh.
28. Laugh some more!
29. Take your work seriously, but not yourself at all.
30. Develop a forgiving attitude (most people are doing the best they can).
31. Be kind to unkind people (they probably need it the most).
32. Sit on your ego.
33. Talk less; listen more.
34. Slow down.
35. Remind yourself that you are not the general manager of the universe!
36 . Every night before bed, think of one thing you’re grateful for that you’ve never been grateful for before.

Thank-you,  to a friend who sent this article to me.  I certainly need to follow these ideas. :-)

The video will bring a smile to your face.  I sure don’t want to have the President’s stress.

Drug Side Effects–DEATH

Errors in taking drugs have killed tens of thousands of Americans over the last few decades. Don’t believe me? Read on. Many of us are being sickened and killed by the prescription drugs the medical doctors prescribed and we take correctly.

According to the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, data from 2004 shows that for every person hospitalized in that year for a medication error (wrong drug, wrong dosage, etc.), 9 others were admitted for adverse reactions to drugs that were prescribed in total accordance with their recommendations and administration instructions!

More than 90% of hospitalizations for ADR (Adverse Drug Reactions) were caused by the drugs we took precisely the way doctors ordered.

More to the research:

  • The average of total hospital costs for those suffering from ADR were almost 33% higher than those hospitalized for non-drug-related reasons.
  • Not all classes of drugs were equal in their likelihood of misadministration. 99.6% of those hospitalized for adverse reactions to both corticosteroids and anti-cancer drugs (2 of the top 3 classes of drugs involved in ADRs) had taken or been given their medications correctly.

    • The average age of those hospitalized for an ADR from correctly administered medicine was 64 - for improperly administered drugs, that age was 47.
  • Almost 60% of those who experienced ADRs of any type were women.

Some credible reports estimate the number of U.S. deaths over the last ten years from Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR) at more than a million! See link to article–Death by Medicine

What this study reveals is that medical and medication errors are a major killer. But drugs themselves are by far the biggest killers.  This study shows that you’re 10 times as likely to die from side effects of a drug than you are from a simple mistake in the taking of it.

North American Union, Coming Soon?

“A New America? Lou Dobbs spotlights the NAFTA Super Highway and the North American Union.”

What is going on? Do American citizens have a say on this??

“Lou Dobbs spotlights the on going progress of how the US government is moving along plans to merge America with Canada and Mexico, forming a North American Union. The stepping stone to the North American Union is the proposed NAFTA Super Highway that would run all the way from in Mexico through America and into Canada. This information must be spread to inform others about this treasonous plan to end America’s sovereignty! Americans must stand together and say NO to the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP) and the North American Union (NAU)!”  Watch thses videos, a report by Lou Dobbs and a talk by Senator Ron Paul.

New Mammography Guidelines

Mammography delivers a 1000 times the radiation to each breast than a chest x-ray.  I have always question the benefit and safty of routine mammography.  Many authors and researchers also post the same view.  Now a new guideline published by the American College of Physicians asking women in their 40s to consult with their doctors before getting a mammography.

X-ray is the only known proven cause of cancer.  Research showed that for every woman saved with mammography, ten were harmed.  The risk is much higher than the benefit.

Paying attention to diet, exercise, reduced toxin exposure by eating organic local produced foods, are potent preventive measures for breast cancer.

Food Additives Found to Harm Children

Finally, official recognition that chemical additives in foods are causing behavior problems in children. This is likely the biggest no-surprise ’study result’ of the last 50 years. The commercial junk food industry has been POISONING hundreds of millions of children and adults throughout the world and destroying the lives of many of them for decades. There has never been any question that these chemicals and ‘additives’ approved as ’safe’ by the hideously corrupt Big Chemical/Big Pharma/Big Factory Farming - dominated USDA/FDA - and the FSA in the UK - are toxic, life-altering, life-destroying POISONS.

Parents, it is our responsibility to protect our children from being the sacrificial lambs.  Find the best quality whole food for them and keep them safe.  There is no room for junk food in a life sustaining diet.  Find creative way to make real food treats and teach our kids the importance of eating natural real foods.  Support local farmers and take back the control of our food in our communities.

Good News! No Organic Bee colony Losses

I wrote about the mysterious disappearances of many bee colonies in the United States and Canada before. We are very dependant on bees to pollinate our food crops. If the bees are gone, it spells disaster to our food production. We will not survive long without bees.  New observations showed that it is not happening to organically kept bee colonies.  I took a deep breath of relief.  The colony collapse syndrome seems to occur only to commercial bee keepers’ colonies becasue of the pesticides use to fumigate mites and long distance travels in trucks of these bee hives to perform pollinating work and cause lots of stress to the bees.  The organically kept bees are going healthy and strong.

Got Real Milk?

Got Milk? is a U.S. advertising campaign created in 1993 by the agency Goodby Silverstein & Partners for the California Milk Board and later licensed for use by milk processors and dairy farmers throughtout the Nation of The United States. This long-running series of print ads features ethnically diverse celebrities, athletes and fictional characters sporting their own “milk mustache.”  But what kind of milk are they promoting? Does that kind of milk really “do a body good”?  What is “real” milk?  Why should we care?

Read this interview of Sally Fallon, president of Weston Price Foundation and find out the scoop of real milk, the way Mother Nature intends it to be.
