Definition of Fascism

Fascism is the collusion of government and corporations to get gain of money and control. Here is a good example: the relationship between the FDA and Big Pharma.

The government makes money both ways. Making it easier for drug approval by collecting fees from drug companies. It makes money by fining companies for inaccurate marketing practices by the billions. But the FDA is the enabler to allow drug companies to behave unethically in the first place.

A few days ago, Bloomberg ran this story: “Johnson & Johnson Agree to Pay $1 Billion in Risperdal Marketing Probe.”

“The Food and Drug Administration approved Risperdal in 1993 for psychotic disorders including schizophrenia. That market is limited, and J&J’s Janssen unit sought to sell Risperdal for bipolar disorder, dementia, mood and anxiety disorders and other unapproved uses, according to documents in a lawsuit against J&J by the state of Louisiana. It was later approved for other uses.”

Bloomberg writes that Risperdal “generated worldwide sales of $24.2 billion from 2003 to 2010, reaching $4.5 billion in 2007. After that, J&J lost patent protection and sales declined.

Not only our government is addicted to legal drug money, it is also addicted to illegal drug money!!!

We don’t need drugs, legal or otherwise.  There only one way to health is to obey the laws of nature: to insure that we have  good food, good relationships with family and friends, good environment and good conscience.  Depart from that we have nothing but diseases and destruction personally, culturally, socially, financially, politically, emotionally, physically, and emotionally sooner or later.  learn how to take care of our health ourselves without man-made chemicals is the only way to go.  But I would make cannabis an exception. It is not man-made and it is one of the best natural remedies for many health problems. If only the government and the drug companies will let it go free, and free for all people who are sick with cancer, chronic pain and emotional pain to use, it will be a wonderful day.

No Deaths from Vitamins

America’s Largest Database Confirms Supplement Safety

(OMNS, Dec 28, 2011) There was not even one death caused by a vitamin supplement in 2010, according to the most recent information collected by the U.S. National Poison Data System.

The new 203-page annual report of the American Association of Poison Control Centers, published online at http://www.aapcc.org/dnn/Portals/0/2010%20NPDS%20Annual%20Report.pdf, shows zero deaths from multiple vitamins; zero deaths from any of the B vitamins; zero deaths from vitamins A, C, D, or E; and zero deaths from any other vitamin.

Additionally, there were no deaths whatsoever from any amino acid or dietary mineral supplement.

Three people died from non-supplement mineral poisoning: two from medical use of sodium and one from non-supplemental iron. On page 131, the AAPCC report specifically indicates that the iron fatality was not from a nutritional supplement.

Fifty-seven poison centers provide coast-to-coast data for the National Poison Data System, “one of the few real-time national surveillance systems in existence, providing a model public health surveillance system for all types of exposures, public health event identification, resilience response and situational awareness tracking.”

Well over half of the U.S. population takes daily nutritional supplements. Even if each of those people took only one single tablet daily, that makes 165,000,000 individual doses per day, for a total of over 60 billion doses annually. Since many persons take far more than just one single vitamin or mineral tablet, actual consumption is considerably higher, and the safety of nutritional supplements is all the more remarkable.

Over 60 billion doses of vitamin and mineral supplements per year in the USA, and not a single fatality. Not one.

If vitamin and mineral supplements are allegedly so “dangerous,” as the FDA and news media so often claim, then where are the bodies?

Government’s War on Its Own People

Government’s War on Its Own People

A medicinal marijuana user should not be considered a criminal in any
state. Most major medical groups, including the Institute of Medicine,
agree that marijuana is a compound with significant therapeutic potential.
[2]
                                                                                                   Dr. Gregory T. Carter

The United States government is at war with its own people (war against drugs) and is stubbornly facing down governors of states, state legislators and through the years a host of organizations. The rebellion against federal fanaticism against marijuana started with the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME), the country’s largest public service workers’ union, which passed a resolution years ago endorsing medical marijuana at its national convention in Chicago. Then the Presbyterian Church (USA) and Citizens Against Government Waste came out publicly for humane medicine and the legalization of medical marijuana.

Leading medical, religious, and legal organizations that now support physician-supervised access to medical marijuana, according to the Marijuana Policy Project, include the American Nurses Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Public Health Association, the American Medical Student Association, the American Academy of HIV Medicine, the Lymphoma Foundation of America, and the American Bar Association.

The American Bar Association “recognizes that persons who suffer from serious illnesses for which marijuana has a medically recognized therapeutic value have a right to be treated with marijuana under the supervision of a physician.” Religious organizations in support include the United Methodist Church’s Board of Church and Society, the Presbyterian Church, the Episcopal Church, the United Church of Christ, the Unitarian Universalist Association and the Union of Reform Judaism.[2]

If Obama really is a president and not just a puppet then he is responsible for the recent federal aggression against medical marijuana dispensaries in states where it is quite legal. Several governors are pleading, but their voices are falling on deaf ears. America has already fallen, as has Europe, to an evil that has inserted itself on every level of civilization. Actually it’s all over the world and now things are really going to get rough.

According to a recent article in the Guardian, Barack Obama has abandoned a commitment to veto a new security law that allows the military to indefinitely detain without trial American terrorism suspects arrested on U.S. soil who could then be shipped to Guantánamo Bay. Human rights groups accused the president of deserting his principles and disregarding the long-established principle that the military is not used in domestic policing. The legislation has also been strongly criticized by libertarians on the right angered at the stripping of individual rights for the duration of “a war that appears to have no end.” The law, contained in the defense authorization bill that funds the U.S. military, effectively extends the battlefield in the “war on terror” to the U.S. and applies the established principle that combatants in any war are subject to military detention. The legislation’s supporters in Congress say it simply codifies existing practice, such as the indefinite detention of alleged terrorists at Guantánamo Bay. But the law’s critics describe it as a draconian piece of legislation that extends the reach of detention without trial to include US citizens arrested in their own country. “It’s something so radical that it would have been considered crazy had it been pushed by the Bush administration,” said Tom Malinowski of Human Rights Watch. “It establishes precisely the kind of system that the United States has consistently urged other countries not to adopt.

Governments all over the world followed America’s lead, leading millions around the world to be prosecuted and jailed annually. Some countries have rebelled with Portugal being way out front in leading the way to medical sanity and compassion, something the American government simply does not have for anyone on this planet. After centuries of war in Europe one would have thought that things could not have gotten any worse in terms of arrogance and violence.

Americans have been victims of their own government because they have never been able to garner up the guts to stop them. The richest and most powerful Americans have just been laughing at everyone else, not caring one iota for our pain and suffering. Now it is way too late and there is hell to pay.

I am finishing my book, Medical Marijuana, this next week and hope to make it available in early 2012. No one from the federal government of the United States should read this book for it exposes that government as a terrible terrorist organization seeking to make sure, as it does, that its own people suffer because of its obscene marijuana laws.

The full therapeutic potential of cannabis can
be realized only when it is completely legal and
people don’t have to go to their doctors to get it.
Dr. Grinspoon

My medical marijuana book is revolutionary in a medical sense, championing marijuana in clinical practice for adults and children for a wide range of diseases including cancer and diabetes. For the pharmaceutical companies my ideas are bad news, for when marijuana is combined with magnesium chloride we have a union of medicine that has the potential to bankrupt many of these companies that depend on selling vastly more dangerous chemicals.

Though this book is principally about medical marijuana, it is also a book on general medicine or what I call Natural Allopathic Medicine. There is a comprehensive context I develop around cannabinoid medicine where medical marijuana can be prescribed (or simply just taken) in combination with certain other substances (like a pure magnesium oil) to amplify its effectiveness across a broad spectrum of disorders.

The Natural Allopathic Medical approach combines cannabinoid medicine with magnesium medicine and then with pH and iodine medicine. This text makes it clear that the safest and least expensive medicines outperform most pharmaceuticals by an extremely wide margin.

This book calls on all medical marijuana dispensaries, doctors, dentists, naturopaths, chiropractors, nurses, acupuncturists, and other professional healthcare practitioners to open to the discovery of how magnesium chloride can most effectively be combined with cannabinoids. Magnesium chloride and cannabinoids blend together magnificently in harmony and I like to think of them as the “Batman and Robin” of the medical world.

Obviously magnesium is Batman, and Robin (or medical marijuana) is the sidekick. When we talk seriously about medicine and the treatment of disease it is magnesium that is more fundamental and deep acting, though of course cannabis has a lot of medical firepower to wield without the usual side effects brought on by pharma drugs.

It is time for us to mature in many senses though I think this Batman-and-Robin team is a medical breakthrough. For neurological diseases medical cannabis and magnesium together will pulverize the pharmaceutical legions whose drugs do more harm than good. For cancer also we want to flood the body with the two and let them deliver what might be called a healthy cure (with the help of a full protocol behind them).

The bottom line about medical marijuana is delivered by Dr. Allan Frankel who says, “As a short-term life-prolonging medicine and a long-term therapy for chronic conditions, medical cannabis is a miracle drug that is endorsed by countless doctors and nurses, as well as the patients whose lives are dramatically improved by its use.”

Marijuana as a medicine is strong, safe, easy-to-use and extremely inexpensive if you grow it yourself as a weed in your backyard or living room. The pharmaceutical industry has nothing pharmacologically equal to cannabinoids though they copy and synthesize it as well as extract its components because they fully recognize what a good medicine it is.

Free Local Food for Happy and Healthy People

Carrots in the car park. Radishes on the roundabout. The deliciously eccentric story of the town growing ALL its own veg

By Vincent Graff
Admittedly, it sounds like the most foolhardy of criminal capers, and one of the cheekiest, too.

Outside the police station in the small Victorian mill town of Todmorden, West Yorkshire, there are three large raised flower beds.

If you’d visited a few months ago, you’d have found them overflowing with curly kale, carrot plants, lettuces, spring onions — all manner of vegetables and salad leaves.

Today the beds are bare. Why? Because people have been wandering up to the police station forecourt in broad daylight and digging up the vegetables. And what are the cops doing about this brazen theft from right under their noses? Nothing.

Well, that’s not quite correct.

‘I watch ’em on camera as they come up and pick them,’ says desk officer Janet Scott, with a huge grin. It’s the smile that explains everything.

For the vegetable-swipers are not thieves. The police station carrots — and thousands of vegetables in 70 large beds around the town — are there for the taking. Locals are encouraged to help themselves. A few tomatoes here, a handful of broccoli there. If they’re in season, they’re yours. Free.

So there are (or were) raspberries, apricots and apples on the canal towpath; blackcurrants, redcurrants and strawberries beside the doctor’s surgery; beans and peas outside the college; cherries in the supermarket car park; and mint, rosemary, thyme and fennel by the health centre.

The vegetable plots are the most visible sign of an amazing plan: to make Todmorden the first town in the country that is self-sufficient in food.

‘And we want to do it by 2018,’ says Mary Clear, 56, a grandmother of ten and co-founder of Incredible Edible, as the scheme is called.

‘It’s a very ambitious aim. But if you don’t aim high, you might as well stay in bed, mightn’t you?’

So what’s to stop me turning up with a huge carrier bag and grabbing all the rosemary in the town?

‘Nothing,’ says Mary.

What’s to stop me nabbing all the apples?

‘Nothing.’

All your raspberries?

‘Nothing.’

It just doesn’t happen like that, she says. ‘We trust people. We truly believe — we are witness to it — that people are decent.’

When she sees the Big Issue seller gathering fruit for his lunch, she feels only pleasure. What does it matter, argues Mary, if once in a while she turns up with her margarine tub to find that all the strawberries are gone?

‘This is a revolution,’ she says. ‘But we are gentle revolutionaries. Everything we do is underpinned by kindness.’

The idea came about after she and co-founder Pam Warhurst, the former owner of the town’s Bear Cafe, began fretting about the state of the world and wondered what they could do.

They reasoned that all they could do is start locally, so they got a group of people, mostly women, together in the cafe.

‘Wars come about by men having drinks in bars, good things come about when women drink coffee together,’ says Mary.

‘Our thinking was: there’s so much blame in the world — blame local government, blame politicians, blame bankers, blame technology — we thought, let’s just do something positive instead.’

‘The children walk past here on the way to school. We’ve filled the flower beds with fennel and they’ve all been taught that if you bite fennel, it tastes like a liquorice gobstopper. When I see the children popping little bits of herb into their mouths, I just think it’s brilliant.’

Let’s do something similar in our own backyard!  Go for it!!!!

Origin and Evolution of the Western Diet

Loren Cordain is a professor at Colorado State University and an expert on paleolithic lifestyles. In this youtube video he discussed the problem with eating grains to human health.

“There is growing awareness that the profound changes in the environment (e.g. in diet and other lifestyle conditions) that began with the introduction of agriculture and animal husbandry approximately 10,000 years ago occurred too recently on an evolutionary timescale for the human genome to adjust. In conjunction with this discordance between our ancient, genetically-determined biology and the nutritional, cultural and activity patterns of contemporary western populations, many of the so-called diseases of civilization have emerged. In the U.S. and most western countries, diet-related chronic diseases represent the single largest cause of morbidity and mortality. These diseases are epidemic in contemporary, westernized populations and typically afflict 50-65 % of the adult population, yet are rare or non-existent in hunter-gatherers and other less westernized people. Evidence gleaned over the past three decades now indicates that virtually all so-called diseases of civilization have multifactorial dietary elements that underlie their etiology, along with other environmental agents and genetic susceptibility. This talk will trace the origins of the Western diet and discuss the health implications.”
